I am a frequent shopper of the Asian market and have been to Spice World Market twice now. The difference in the two are worlds apart. The Spice World Market is so clean, so organized, the owner is so sweet and a joy to talk to. For those who like to buy spices in bulk for cheaper, visit here and enjoy the experience.

I used to like this place for their food, but lately its been on a downward spiral. A week ago I got the beef biryani which was one of my go tos and the rice was bland, the meat was dry, and it was pretty much just meat and plain rice with cilantro at best. Are they not using masala for their meat!? Recently, I ordered the butter chicken and as someone who is very familiar with desi food. I did not get butter chicken, but was given what I would describe best as tikka masala but very tomato based and tangy. Butter chicken should be creamy and not bright red and tangy! Idk what happened over the last few instances, but the food items have gone down to where I won't be coming here to get my desi food cravings satisfied. Very unfortunate to see a place that was once good spiral downward...

The chicken I was served was undercooked and pink inside. This is a serious food-safety issue and completely unacceptable. I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it away. Very disappointing.

Extremely Disappointed – Rancid Food and Poor Handling We ordered goat biryani and chicken curry, but unfortunately both dishes were rancid, excessively oily, and had an unpleasant, spoiled smell. We took the food back to the store, and even the staff acknowledged that it was not edible. They offered to replace only the curry, but given the condition of both dishes, we didn’t feel comfortable accepting any replacement food. We then requested to use the refund amount toward groceries instead, but were told β€œno, no, both are separate” and that a refund wasn’t possible. This response was quite disappointing β€” rather than addressing the issue responsibly, it felt like they expected us to accept poor-quality food. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both food quality and customer service moving forward.

I learned about this place from a client of mine. I went in because I really wanted to see what they had. I was so surprised and excited for all the things that I’d love to get there that were available. I’ve made quite a few stops here to get certain things we use in our family. They are always so nice. We even stopped for lunch one day, especially since it’s so close to discount tires. If you like spicy food, they have a full menu great service, great staff great very unique finds.
